This year is very special because it marks the centenary of end of the First World War.
Remembrance Sunday never has much publicity in Weybridge, but a wreath laying ceremony is always held at the War Memorial by Temple Market.
As befits the occassion, the Society will be joining in and laying a wreath alongside those from other local public figures and uniformed organisations.
If you want to show your respects why not go along to Temple Market at 2.30pm.
Afterwards there is a parade down Monument Hill and the High Street with a Civic Service in St James’ Church at 3pm, which all are welcome to attend.
There also the Oatlands Memorial Parade starting from the Oatlands Park Village Club at 9.30. The parade will be led by the Oatlands Pipe Band and march to the Oatlands War Memorial where there will a service at 10 am.
