Brooklands College is holding a Heritage Trail event on Wednesday 16th August, 11am – 12.45pm
This is a free event starting with a short talk about the College’s development plans followed by the opportunity to walk through some of the 12 hectares of woodland surrounding the college. The trail will be lead by Joe Gerrard Landscape Architect, who has been involved with the planning application and is very knowledgeable about the area.
The woodlands are currently not publicly accessible, but will be opened as Sustainable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG) in the proposals. This new public access will be a south-west to north-east strategic footway/cycleway linking Brooklands and Weybridge (including the re-opening of the railway footbridge.)
You will need to book a place to attend this event where you can see and hear the benefits the development will bring to the local community.
