The Society has been working hard for nearly three years on WRAP — the Weybridge Rebuild and Advance Project.

WRAP builds on the opportunity created by the fire that destroyed our GP practices and old hospital site in 2017, and separately, the long-term need to re-develop our tired Library and Churchfield Community Centre buildings. WRAP seeks to combine these two needs and re-provide key health and community services whilst also ‘building back better and greener’ by creating one new community hub.
We have produced a document (link below) which is a summary of the main ideas which the Society presented to local officials in June, outlining a possible vision for our hub.
We always want to help create an informed citizenry and welcome thoughts and comments about our hub ideas so that we can continue to give credible feedback to decision makers on behalf of our members and all residents.
As we move forward, we are keen to include any opinions that might have been missed regarding the town’s needs as a whole, as well as any specific opportunities such as activities and potential users, which could be included in the hub. Please send your comments to hubfeedback@weybridgesociety.org.uk
