If you use the paths around the Churchfields Recreation Ground, you’ll have seen the first stage of the upgrade work in progress recently.
The Weybridge Society is now running a survey to help us ensure that, after the rest of the work is done, they remain one of our town’s most charming areas, yet enable people to move about easily and safely.
We are working with Councillors and the Surrey CC project team to consider what calming measures and signage will promote continued safe use of these paths and are gathering information about the experiences of people who use them, whether on foot, cycle or other means of transport.
We are keen to obtain the views of as many people as possible, and the link to the survey is here – https://tinyurl.com/y8ztbfmh
Please feel free to share it with any other people who have an interest in these paths.
[Note that the statutory process for ‘regularising’ cycling on these paths is still proceeding, and calming and signage work will only start when this process is complete.]
