The new Elmbridge Local Plan about housing development over the next 15 years is going out to public consultation from 19th August until 30th September. The emphasis is on how to considerably increase the number of new housing units built, including options to release some Green Belt land.
Elmbridge Council have arranged a number of area focused meetings to present and discuss the five options in the Plan.
The meeting for the Weybridge area is on Tuesday 27th August at the Civic Centre in Esher from 7 to 9pm.
Residents should book to attend the meeting using the following link www.elmbridge.gov.uk/localplantickets, which also contains more information about the availability of the final document and how to submit questions. The Society will be making its own submission about the plan and the various options in relation to how they may affect Weybridge.
