Public Meadow in Churchfields Avenue

29th June 2013

The new public meadow in Churchfields Avenue opened this week as an extension to the Churchfields recreation ground. Now is the time to experience and enjoy it while it is midsummer and the flowers are in season.

Update: the official opening of Churchfields Meadow in Weybridge will take place on Tuesday 9th July 2013 at 10.30 am by the Mayor of Elmbridge Cllr Michael Bennison.

Vice Chair of the Society Richard Marshall and his wife Jan, live right opposite and they offer that members are welcome to also visit their wild back garden (it was not in this year’s open garden scheme because they were away that weekend). The path to enter is to the right (East) of house no 12.
