Town paths for shared use of pedestrians and cyclists

12th September 2020

Surrey County Council are looking to extend the shared pedestrian and cycle route from the station down Heath Road into Weybridge town centre. This would then take the route from the pedestrian crossing on Heath Road, along Waverley and Melrose Roads and make use of the path through to Springfield Meadows. The first part of this path would have to be widened and further tarmacked over.
There would also be a branch off onto the path between the allotments and the Churchfields Park play area down towards the town.
There are no published plans at present but hopefully, there will be some public consultation in due course.
