Who We Are
We’re a community association and a registered charity, open to all, working to keep Weybridge a great place to live! For over 60 years we’ve been representing local residents in the public interest: our focus is protecting and enhancing Weybridge! We take action on a broad range of issues, from local services in health and transport to building developments, traffic and parking, and our members are people who care about living in a lovely, lively and safe place and who want news about changes that affect us all.
Our active volunteers stay in touch with smaller residents’ associations, business groups and local authorities to ensure the best possible outcomes for major projects that will change the way we all work and live. We depend on these active members to meet in committee and work together, but strength comes in bigger numbers — we’re always looking for people to join and be part of our organisation. So sign up for membership and support us in any way you can – and let us represent you in matters of local interest!

What We Do
From planning consent on new building and landscaping works to broader measures on traffic, parking and environmental issues, we’re at the forefront of strategy and feedback about major projects in the Weybridge area. We also follow issues of broad interest to the local population, like health and transport, providing the public with important information about their provisioning and services. We track local building developments and projects in Weybridge’s Town Centre, Oatlands, St. Georges and Brooklands areas, gauging their impact on our town and trying to ensure a positive outcome for residents and workers. We aren’t anti-anything — we’re simply pro-Weybridge!
Our work involves listening to residents and liaising with local authorities and elected officials via letters and meetings to let them know what residents want. From inception to completion, we keep tabs on various projects and issues and make sure any changes to Weybridge are positive for the town. We also give back to the community by fundraising for local charities and reaching out to schools.
