Newsletter
One of the best reasons for joining the Society is to receive your own copy of the Society's Newsletter.
The Newsletter is published quarterly and is distributed to member's homes by a group of volunteers to minimise the costs. The newsletter is also sent to a wide variety of other outlets such as BBC Southern Counties Radio, the local newspapers, The Weybridge Flyer, all those who contributed or who are mentioned in the newsletter, Elmbridge Borough Council, and many others.
The Newsletters are packed with informative features on all aspects of life in Weybridge.
The newsletter typically covers a wide range of topics including;
- details of local planning applications which the Society has responded to
- local transport issues
- information about local activities including those of the Society
- features on local businesses
- items of historical interest.
