FREE Textile Recycling Service from 1st Weybridge Scouts
1st Weybridge Scouts have asked us to pass on the details below of their latest textile recycling service in 2012.
Following the huge success of our textile campaign in May last year 1st Weybridge Scouts are offering our FREE Community Textile Recycling Service again this year as it allows us to help:
1) Reduce Landfill2) Helps Clothe those in 3rd World Countries3) Raise Funds for 1st Weybridge Scouts without costing you a penny4) Those who can't get to a recycling plant by offering our Free Collection Service
So from the 2nd January until the 22 March 2012 1st Weybridge Scouts aim to collect over 500 bags of textiles - but we can't raise this amount without your help! Do you think you can help us?
We are COLLECTING the following Textiles in ANY CONDITION (ripped, torn, broken elastic etc):Clothing (including underwear),Bedding,Curtains,Towels,Shoes/Trainers/Boots,Belts,Hats,Handbags
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT open any of the donated bags of textiles, so feel free to donate any textile items including underwear
We are offering a FREE local collection to collect bags or bagged donations can be left outside the HQ at 20 Springfield Lane (Off Baker Street), Weybridge, KT13 8AW on a Wednesday until 7pm or a Thursday until 8pm.
