A real treat for all art lovers is in store over the bank holiday weekend of 28th-31st May at the Riverhouse Barn in Walton upon Thames. The Weybridge Art Society (formerly known as the Weybridge Society of Art) will be mounting their spring exhibition of work by some of their 45-strong membership of professional and amateur artists working in a variety of media and styles - traditional and modern, painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and enamelling, as well as some novelty pieces which defy categorisation!
Standards are very high in this society which recruits its members from Weybridge and the surrounding area by invitation or selection by committee. Visitors will find the experience thought-provoking and invigorating, and will have the chance if they wish to purchase some top-quality art at very reasonable prices.
The exhibition is open at the times shown on the email invitation above. Come in and browse quietly or if you wish join us for a glass of wine and a chat with some of the artists on Friday 27th May from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
