Weybridge Society is hosting a Town Forum on Monday 20th July 2009 in St James Church, Weybridge.
The main topic of the Forum will be the Elmbridge Borough Council's LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK. There is also an online portal site at http://elmbridge-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal/ where you can view and comment on the core strategy.
This far reaching protocol will affect Weybridge for the next 20+ years, with implications for planning, housing, green belt, population, health, schools, traffic, trade, – in fact almost every aspect of Weybridge life.
Come and hear about it from professionals, councillors and residents. Watch the local press and the Weybridge Society website for information about the public
consultations prior to the meeting. Air your views, and help your Weybridge Society Committee put together its response to the proposals to the Council.
We have until 3 August 2009 to make our views known.
