Brooklands FM Tea Dance Event for Sam Beare Hospice

Date Time Location
27th Mar 2010 14:00 The Ship Hotel, Weybridge

Your local community radio station Brooklands FM is inviting you to put on your dancing shoes and help raise money for the Sam Beare Hospice Weybridge.

If you love music from the 50s, 60s and 70s the place to be is The Best Western Ship Hotel, Weybridge, at 2pm on Saturday, March 27, for a Groovy Afternoon Tea.

Organiser Celia Jones says: "You'll be able to bop your socks off or just listen to the music and enjoy a spot of afternoon tea."

Cllr James Vickers, Mayor of Elmbridge, will be joining us and there will be displays from local bodies including the Elmbridge Museum, the Weybridge Society and the Elmbridge branch of the University of the 3rd Age for you to browse as Brooklands FM presenter Lance England spins genuine vinyl platters from the past.

Entrance will be £4, or £3 in advance by emailing your name and number of tickets required to cjbrooklandsfm@ntlworld.com.

Parking is free. Proceeds from ticket sales will be divided between the Sam Beare Hospice Weybridge Emergency Appeal and Brooklands FM.

Weybridge Society will have a small promotional stand at the event.
